MOTIVE is looking for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer – Short Term contract role (can be completed part time).

The ME is responsible for creating a more stable and expanded version of what has been prototyped, primarily the hardware and embedded integration of motion interaction computing with treadmills.

MOTIVE is now moving forward on building a more stable pre-commercial release based upon earlier prototyping.

MOTIVE is looking for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer – Short Term contract role (can be completed part time).

The ME is responsible for creating a more stable and expanded version of what has been prototyped, primarily the hardware and embedded integration of motion interaction computing with treadmills.

The ME will also work with Software Developer* and Project Manager.

Experience with building, programming and integrating;

  • Microcontrollers
  • Sensors
  • Bluetooth
  • Open NI, Processing (OSC communication), C++
  • 3D Point Cloud
  • CAD Design
  • Ability to communicate in English

Nice to have:

  • FTMS Protocol
  • Fitness Equipment
  • C, C#, Python
  • TOF, LiDar
  • Unity 3D or Unreal Engine
  • WebXR
  • OpenXR

*SW Dev role primarily integration SDKs, Back and Admin Front End.
